PAGASA: Ambuklao, Binga dams gates remain open
Two dams in Benguet province in Northern Luzon still kept their gates open early Saturday to let out excess water, PAGASA said.
Ambuklao in Bokod town and Binga in Itogon town each kept one gate open as of 6 a.m., according to an update by the state weather bureau.
PAGASA said Ambuklao's water level as of 6 a.m. Saturday was at 751.55 meters, slightly down from the 751.77 meters Friday.
This was below the dam's 752-meter high level.
Binga's water level at 6 a.m. Saturday was at 574.60 meters, slightly higher from Friday's water level of 574.54 meters.
