Fil-Swiss Stockinger breaks through GP3 Top 10

After being the first Filipino to win a Formula race in Europe, Marlon Stockinger ended his season on a high note, cracking into the top 10 of the 2012 GP3 Series.

 

Stockinger finished fourth in the last leg of the series at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy, to push his total to 55 points for the 10th spot at the championship table. 

 

Australian Mitch Evans took home top honors for Australian team MW Arden with 151.5 points in total.

 

"To end the year like that was good. I had a slump in the middle of the season but I’m happy to turn it around," said Stockinger, who made history earlier in the year after taking the top spot at the podium in Monaco. - KBK, GMA News
