A passenger jeep caused a scare near the Philippine General Hospital in Manila Tuesday night as it crashed into a drugstore across the government facility.

 

No one was initially reported injured in the incident along Taft Avenue, though the facade of the drugstore was wrecked, according to a report on dzBB radio early Wednesday.

 

The jeep’s passengers claimed the driver was speeding. However, the report quoted the driver as saying he swerved to avoid hitting a passenger bus.
