The death toll from a fire that razed a residential area in Quezon City Wednesday rose to two, after the body of a boarder was found in the remains of the house.
Boarder Madelyne Suliman's body was found inside the house of the Espina family shortly before noon Wednesday, radio dzBB reported early Thursday.
Hours earlier, the body of four-year-old Alexander Espina was found in the razed house, the report quoted the Bureau of Fire Protection as saying.
The fire at Mauban Street in Barangay Manresa started at 1:50 a.m. and reached Task Force Alpha before firefighters put it out some hours later.
