Heavy rain from thunderstorm causes floods, poor visibility in NCR

In Manila, radio dzBB's Paulo Santos reported poor visibility for motorists in areas such as United Nations Avenue due to the heavy rain.
Visibility was also poor in parts of Quezon City, according to a separate report by dzBB's Divine Caraecle.
PAGASA also indicated a possible hailstorm over North Fairview in Quezon City and in Pasig and Marikina Cities.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said floods in some areas along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue, including P. Tuazon, were gutter-deep as of 1:14 p.m.
PAGASA earlier said that while Metro Manila is not likely to be affected by Tropical Storm Lawin for now, but thunderstorms especially in the afternoon or evening are expected in the area. — LBG, GMA News
