MMDA fixing bug in iOS app

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday assured users of its traffic navigation app it is investigating a bug that causes the app to crash.

 

"ADVISORY: We are investigating a bug on MMDA for iOS LineView that is causing a crash as of today. (We will) submit a fix by tonight," it said.

 

Last September, the MMDA updated its app for mobile devices running Apple Inc.'s iOS platform, including iPhones, iPads and iPod touches.

 

The updated app has added support for iOS 6, the newly released operating system for mobile Apple devices.

 

The app allows motorists to navigate their way through Metro Manila traffic and view the traffic situation in System, Map or Line View.

 

It covers EDSA, C5, SLEX, Roxas Boulevard, Ortigas, Commonwealth, Marcos Highway, Katipunan, España, and Quezon Avenue. — TJD, GMA News
