DOTC: 16 more flights canceled due to bad weather

At least 16 more domestic flights were canceled Wednesday due to bad weather conditions, the Department of Transportation and Communications and air carrier Cebu Pacific said. In a series of posts on its Twitter account, the DOTC said two of the canceled flights were between Manila and Batanes province in Northern Luzon. The affected flights of Skyjet are:

- SJ-5525: Manila to Basco - SJ-5525: Basco to Manila
Other canceled flights were of Air Philippines and of Cebu Pacific
- 2P-961 and 2P-962: Manila to Cagayan de Oro and back - 5J-625 and 5J-626: Manila to Cagayan de Oro and back - 5J-383 and 5J-384: Manila to Cagayan de Oro and back
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific issued its own advisory announcing the cancellation of flights due to bad weather:
- 5J-795 and 796: Butuan to Davao and back - 5J-205 and 206: Cebu to Cagayan de Oro and back - 5J-525 and 526: Manila to Dumaguete and back - 5J-867 and 868: Cebu to Dumaguete and back
"Affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. Passengers on these flights may also rebook within 30 days of their original flight, or refund these flights, or place them in their Travel Funds without penalties," Cebu Pacific said. — LBG, GMA News
