Blackberry Twitter app gets easier photo uploading

Twitter users with BlackBerry mobile devices can now have an easier time uploading photos to the micro-blogging service, after Twitter updated its app for the platform.

 

A description of the updated app on BlackBerry's AppWorld said the app also adds a Direct Message option to the "Me" tab.

 

"Tweets contain @ symbol auto-complete, adding location, taking a photo, and uploading images from the device. Give it a try!" it said.

 

It also features a full conversation view for tweets where one can "tap a Tweet and see replies."

 

Also, the app makes it easier to edit profile details from a Blackberry device.

 

"New menu allows you to quote Tweets and view the details from your home timeline," it added.
