Several oil companies on Saturday rolled back prices of their products, citing changes in the world market for oil this week.

Petron, Shell, Chevron, Phoenix Petroleum and Seaoil announced similar rollbacks for early Saturday, radio dzBB reported late Friday.

The report said the rollbacks for Shell, Chevron, Seaoil and Petron would take effect 12:01 a.m. Saturday. Phoenix is to roll back its prices 6 a.m.

The rollbacks involve:

- 45 centavos per liter for kerosene and unleaded and premium gas
- 40 centavos per liter for diesel

Last weekend, several oil firms also rolled back prices of their fuel products at the rate of 90 centavos per liter for premium and unleaded, 90 centavos per liter for diesel, and P1 per liter for kerosene.  — ELR, GMA News
