3 suspected robbers killed in Laguna shootout

Three suspected robbers were killed following a shootout with cops in Biñan, Laguna early Tuesday morning. 

 

The police identified Danilo Pertez, Jacob Maningas and Jaypee Villanueva as those who were involved in a robbery incident in Barangay San Antonio. 

 

Senior Superintendent Pascual Muñoz, Laguna police director, said the suspects fired at the police after seeing them conducting manhunt operations and tried to escape aboard a tricycle. 

 

The cops fired back, killing the three suspects instantly. 

 

Police recovered from the suspects three 38-caliber revolvers, a bag of undetermined amount of money, cellphone, a DVD, shirt, lighter and a Nike bag. — with Marc Jayson Cayabyab/RSJ, GMA News
