Speedboat of actor Aga Muhlach explodes, driver hurt -- report

At least one person was reported injured after a speedboat owned by actor and congressional bet Aga Muhlach exploded in Camarines Sur early on Saturday. Neither Muhlach nor any member of his family were aboard the speedboat when the incident at Caramoan town occurred at 6:00 a.m., Bombo Radyo reported. However, the report quoted PO3 Emerson Nebreja of the Philippine Coast Guard as saying the operator was injured. The report said the incident occurred near Gota Beach. Authorities are still investigating what caused the incident, the report added. Muhlach is running for a congressional post this May. - VVP, GMA News
