PAGASA: Rain over Batanes and Calayan; warm weather in the rest of the PHL
Except for light to moderate rain showers over parts of extreme northern Luzon, warm weather is again expected over most of the country Friday, state weather forecasters said. PAGASA forecaster Jun Galang said the rain over parts of northern Luzon is due to the diffused tail-end of a cold front. "Sa Metro Manila, generally maganda panahon puwera sa isolated na ulan," he said in an interview on dzBB radio. Metro Manila's forecast temperature range for Friday is 24 to 35 degrees Celsius. Tuguegarao City's temperature range is 21 to 35 degrees Celsius. Olongapo and Angeles City are expected to have a temperature range of 23 to 35 degrees Celsius. Friday outlook PAGASA's 5 a.m. bulletin said Batanes and Calayan Islands and Cagayan province may expect "cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms," while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be "partly cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms." It added moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas. — DVM, GMA News
