Video game developer Quantic Dream has accumulated quite a resume over the years. So much so that their reputation now precedes them. This is mostly thanks to their realistic graphics and motion capture techniques utilized in both games and movies.
The French based company is best known for their 2010 game “Heavy Rain”, a Playstation 3 exclusive that took gamers by storm thanks to its rich graphics and incredible crime/suspense storytelling.
Their past works also include the 1999 PC and Sega Dreamcast game “Omikron: The Nomad Soul” , which included music by famed artist and actor, David Bowie. They also designed the cinematics for the 2004 science fiction film “Immortal.”

Due out in Oct 2013.
Now, the company is gearing up to release another potentially amazing game for 2013 with “Beyond: Two Souls”.
Much like “Heavy Rain”, this game is an interactive cinematic experience that literally puts the players inside the game and decides the outcome based on their actions. Set as a battle with psychological and spiritual elements, the game stars Hollywood A-listers Ellen Page (“Inception”) and Willem Dafoe (“Platoon”). Page plays Jodie Holmes, accompanied by an entity he can communicate with known as “Aiden”. Dafoe meanwhile plays Nathan Dawkins, a scientist who helps Holmes on her quest to discover the meaning of her powers.
The official Playstation Blog has revealed the cover art and have additionally, sent a message to gamers who are looking forward to the game's release:
“Developing the pack front for a game like `Beyond' is always an exciting challenge. 'Beyond' is so unique in the sense that it spans a character’s entire lifetime and takes place in such a vast array of locations and situations, that picking a singular image to represent the game effectively really does feel like digging for a needle in a haystack.
“Ultimately, we decided on the packshot. . .because it felt sophisticated, mature and different from most traditional game packaging, and it really captures the emotion Ellen Page conveyed in her performance as Jodie.”
