LEGO Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter coming in May

Fans of Star Wars and LEGO may want to start saving up: the brick version of one of the iconic vehicles in the franchise is coming in May.

 

LEGO is launching the Red Five X-wing Starfighter, all 1,558 pieces of it, in three months, for $199.99 (about P8,200), Brothers-Brick.com reported.

 

"This iconic starfighter is featured in many of the most exciting Star Wars battle scenes, including the decisive battle scene above planet Yavin," it quoted LEGO as saying.

 

It noted that this was the same ship that Luke Skywalker used to fire a fatal proton torpedo into the first Imperial Death Star.

 

Among the model's features are opening wings and cockpit, a special display stand, data sheet label and R2-D2.

 

The model measures about 10 inches (26cm) high, 20 inches (52cm) long and 18 inches (46cm) wide, and includes a display stand and data sheet label. — TJD, GMA News
