Enter the world of crocs on 'Born Impact'

This Sunday, Born Impact tackles a ferocious reptile, the crocodile.
 
They have been around for over 225 million years and survived multiple mass extinctions. But in the Philippines, a type of crocodile is on the brink of being extinct in only 10 years. The Philippine freshwater crocodile is now critically endangered because of persecution and loss of habitat.


Doc Ferds Recio and Doc Nielsen Donato head to the wild to monitor populations of Philippine crocodiles. The two vets also get hands-on with this powerful reptile, when they conduct physical check-ups of large crocs that have ended up under human supervision.
