St. Luke’s pampers moms all May long

St. Luke’s Medical Center salutes all moms this month of May with a delightful assortment of Mother’s Day treats and surprises! The month-long celebration begins with a shower of tokens for expectant mothers who will give birth at St. Luke’s from May 6 to 31, 2013.

 

New moms who welcome their little ones at St. Luke’s-Global City will receive P&G mommy essentials kits which include diapers and toiletries, while moms who deliver their babies at St. Luke’s-Quezon City will receive Wilkins mom and baby gift baskets which include bottled water and skincare products.

 

To make new moms feel extra special, St. Luke’s will launch the “I am a St. Luke’s Baby Photo Album” on May 11, 2013, Saturday. A hard-bound photo album given exclusively to mothers who give birth at St. Luke’s Global City and Quezon City, this memento will enable moms to preserve their favorite memories of their baby’s arrival. Mothers may also opt to have a free photo shoot with their infants in the comfort of their rooms. Moms and guests will also appreciate the Baby Photo Exhibit at the William H. Quasha Pavilion. 

 

Come May 11 and 12, all in-patient moms at both hospitals will be treated to a whole day of pampering. In-patients moms at St. Luke’s Global City and Quezon City will receive long-stemmed roses from Patient Care Officers and sweet treats from Bizu in the evening. In addition, Global City in-patient moms will enjoy “Happy Mommy Pampering Activities” such as nail care services or a 30-minute foot/hand/back massage in the privacy of their own rooms, free-of-charge. To recharge mommies after a full day, delectable “Afternoon Delights” snacks from Mrs. Fields will be delivered to their rooms.

 

Caritas Manila’s Mother & Child Paintings will also be displayed on May 13 to 19 at Global City and May 20 to 26 at Quezon City.  Paintings are for sale and 20 percent of the proceeds will be given to St. Luke’s Social Services Department. 

 

Aside from patients, St. Luke’s “Mommy Doctors” will also be given some well-deserved pampering on May 11, 2013 with free massage, nail care, make-up and hair styling sessions, facial treatments and buffet snacks at the St. Luke’s-Global City Piano Lounge. Mommy Doctors who need to shuttle to and fro both medical centers can travel in style by boarding the luxury Mercedes Benz shuttle service.

 

St. Luke’s moms can also look forward to lay forums on the “Celebration of Pregnancy,” which discusses things to look out for during pregnancy on May 25 at St. Luke’s-Global City, and “The Essential of Mom & Baby Forum” on June 1 at St. Luke’s-Quezon City.  Women’s Health Talk Caravans will also be presented this May to St. Luke’s Corporate Accounts.

 

To wrap up the month, St. Luke’s will also unveil the best gift for expectant mothers by introducing a unique and thoughtful Lay-Away Program for Maternity Packages. This staggered payment scheme system helps expectant parents carefully set aside or deposit hospital fees in increments as they await the arrival of their newborns.
