Oil firms hike fuel prices Tuesday morning

Several oil companies announced fuel price increases Tuesday morning.

Major companies Petron and Shell are increasing their prices effective 6 a.m., radio dzBB reported early Tuesday.

Gas price monitoring group Petrol Price said PTT is also raising prices of its products.

The dzBB report said fuel prices are to go up by 35 centavos per liter and diesel to go up by 25 centavos per liter.

The oil companies cited changes in the world prices of oil for the latest price adjustment, the dzBB report said. — DVM, GMA News
