When the Eagles and Falcons could have flown away with medals, the Bulldogs and Tigers dragged them down to force game three's in their respective 10th Shakey's V-League's first conference title series, Sunday at the SM MOA Arena.

National University swept Ateneo de Manila University again, 26-24 25-23 25-22, this time in game two of the best-of-three Finals. Prior to that, University of Santo Tomas forced a decider via a score of 24-26 25-17 25-20 25-17, to set another date with Adamson University in their battle for third place.
