For £125,000 (P8.037-million), this racing video game promises players a heck of a racing experience: it comes with a real supercar that can go up to 170 mph.
Codemasters said its "GRID 2: Mono Edition" comes with a PlayStation 3 console and an actual BAC Mono Supercar "to deliver the ultimate racing experience."
"(It) will include a range of extras for the buyer to enjoy the ultimate experience of racing the car in-game and driving it in real life," the developer said on its site.
But here's the catch, aside from the hefty price tag: the exclusive edition of the game is available for just one customer.
The package includes the racing game GRID 2, a PlayStation 3 console, and the BAC Mono supercar with GRID 2 livery, as well as full driver race wear.
"BAC Mono is a British manufactured, road-legal, ultra-high performance supercar which stars in the game. Created from high-strength carbon fibre, the BAC Mono is an unrivalled example of light-weight performance engineering and its 2.3 litre, 280 bhp four cylinder power plant will propel its driver from 0-60 m.p.h. in just 2.8 seconds," it said.
It also claimed "GRID 2: Mono Edition" sets the Guinness World Record for the “Most Expensive Video Game Commercially Available – Special Edition.”
The package also includes a day at the BAC factory and a factory tour; a "GRID 2: Mono Edition" branded Bell Racing helmet; and a race suit, boots and gloves.
Interested buyers with the equivalent of P8 million to burn can preorder the game at sales@bac-mono.com. — TJD, GMA News
