Oil firms hike gas prices, roll back kerosene prices

On the eve of Independence Day, oil firms hiked prices of gasoline but rolled back prices of their kerosene products.
Early Tuesday morning, oil companies Shell and Petron, imposed these fuel price adjustments as they cited price changes in the world market, radio dzBB reported.
The price hike, which takes effect 6 a.m., involves a 50-centavo per liter increase for gasoline products.
On the other hand, the oil firms are rolling back prices of kerosene by 15 centavos per liter.
Last week, oil firms announced increases in prices of their products, which included:
- 70 centavos per liter for premium and unleaded
- 40 centavos per liter for diesel
- 40 centavos per liter for kerosene
