INFOGRAPHIC: PNoy's 2013 SONA by the numbers

July 25, 2013 1:21pm

Caught up in the grandeur of Congress starting anew and who's wearing what on the red carpet, some might forget that the State of the Nation's Address (SONA) is a report.
And true to its purpose, the nearly two-hour wordplay that President Benigno Aquino III delivered at the Batasang Pambansa on Monday was peppered with data, backing up his claim that things are looking up for the Philippines since he started his term three years ago. Amid a little bit of mush (and a video presentation of the "common people" feeling the change), the speech carried figures from different sectors including agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, and the economy.
Check out the numbers that PNoy dropped during his speech in this infographic produced by GMA News Online. — Infographic prepared by Rose-An Jessica Dioquino, design and illustrations by Den Fajardo/CM, GMA News
