EB Babe Kim collapses after performance

At 10:24 p.m. last night, a commotion broke out at the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Inc.'s 37th Grand Annual Awards and Coronation Night held at the RCBC Plaza, Makati City. Wearing matching evening gowns, the EB Babes rushed outside the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, calling for a doctor. Moments later, an unconscious EB Babe Kim, clad in the same outfit, was seen being carried by three men. While the others were calling for help, the men laid Kim down flat on the floor and gave her space to breathe. The members of the Eat Bulaga dance group rushed to Kim's side and tried to wake her up. By then, Kim was breathing heavily and crying, although her eyes remained shut much of the time. One of the onlookers suggested that the group bring Kim to the hospital immediately. The group heeded the suggestion. The men carried Kim to the car. "Hindi po namin napuna, e, kasi po nakalabas na po kami noon, e," said the startled EB Babe Lian. "So, naiwan po siya sa C.R. Nakita po siya nung dalawa pa po naming EB Babes na si Melissa tsaka si May na nag-collapse na po siya!" She added, "Actually, may tendency po talaga siyang ganiyan dahil anemic po ‘yan, e." In an interview with the other EB Babes, they said in unison, "Naglalakad lang po siya... Kasi akala po [namin] nadapa lang po siya. Nagulat na lang kami na hindi siya bumangon. Nanginig na siya." The EB Babes were at the awards night to receive the Most Promising Dance Group plum. - Philippine Entertainment Portal
