Swimmers bagged most of gold medals for RP at SEA Games

The Filipino swimmers grabbed the most number of gold medals for the Philippines at the 24th Southeast Asian Games held in Thailand – eight of the total 41. Next are the track-and-field athletes who brought in five, followed by the fencing and the billiards teams who hauled three gold medals each – for a total of six. Bringing in two gold medals each are the teams who competed in archery, track cycling, dance sport, diving, rowing, softball, and wushu – for a total of 14. Snatching one gold medal each are those who competed in basketball, boxing, mountain cycling, road cycling, judo, taekwondo, tennis, and triathlon – for a total of eight.
