Fire officials are considering revoking the permits of fireworks dealers in Bocaue town in Bulacan who may be liable for a fire that injured several persons on Monday.

Radio dzBB reported Wednesday that Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) investigators have drawn up a list of possible "suspects" but refused to name them while the investigation is pending.

The report said fire investigators have so far found that a lighted cigarette likely sparked the fire that spread to several stalls in the area.

Several persons were injured in the fire, including members of an electronic newsgathering (ENG) crew of GMA Network preparing for a live feed in the area. - GMANews.TV
