eTelecare to add 400 seats to operations

Contact service provider eTelecare Global Solutions Inc. on Tuesday announced that it will be expanding operations for a "major communications industry" by 400 seats. "Per the new contract, eTelecare's additional inbound customer service associates will provide customer care with innovative up-selling components such as customer contract renewals," eTelecare said in a disclosure. In January eTelecare announced that it company has gained approval from its board to form a subsidiary in the United Kingdom. The company said the new subsidiary will be under "the contractual requirements imposed by Virgin Media." The company also said it will be contributing a maximum of $2 million into the subsidiary.
