Nothing can be a greater feat than a three-peat!

For the third consecutive time, DWLS is nominated as Best FM Radio Station in the Yahoo Celebrity Awards.

Barangay LS, the FM station of Radio GMA Network Inc., was recognized by the former Yahoo OMG Awards as the best FM radio station in 2012 and 2013.

The Kapuso radio station first aired in 1955 as the first pop music station in the country on AM format. It also instituted the first school on the air, Campus Aircheck, which provided hands-on training for aspiring DJs.

In 2007, Barangay LS 97.1 rebranded to its current format. This bold move headed by Mike Enriquez proved to be successful as DWLS broadened its fan base and emerged as one of the strongest competitions on the airwaves today.

Barangay LS 97.1 has also been honored by the UPLB Gandingan Awards as the Best FM Radio Station in 2013.

Send the Kapuso FM radio station into the Hall of Fame.
