The hour before noon is crunch time for the housewife. Lunch must be ready before the kids arrive from school.

For the worker or the student, traffic is the final hurdle that must be endured for that one goal: A warm home-cooked meal.

During this pre-noontime chaos, hard-hitting newshens Susan Enriquez and Lala Roque tell Super Radyo DZBB’s listeners to go slow and dispel all worries.

The duo’s radio program, Easy Easy Lang, gives listeners a wide array of topics from family and parenting to the most talked-about issues every Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. until noon.

It also has a unique segment called “Kuwentuhang Easy Easy Lang,” where a celebrity is interviewed about his or her personality.

For the independent home-maker

Being a mom of two, Lala identifies herself with the female listeners of her hour-long program.

“Marami rin akong concerns bilang babae. Hindi lang ‘yung tipikal na babaeng naiisip natin [na] homemaker, homebody [at] sunud-sunuran kasi mayroon na tayong independence; mayroon tayong critical thinking,” she said.

“I want to empower women through our show ni Ate Susan, [a] veteran anchor and reporter. Nandito 'yung pagkakataon na magkaroon kami ng diskusyon, kuro-kuro pati doon sa mga texter namin. If I can empower value and stimulate critical-thinking to our listeners that will be good,” she also said.

Susan, who also anchors the morning show Unang Hirit, said the show is a venue for listeners to have their questions answered by resource persons.

The right mix

Just seven months old, Easy Easy Lang has already earned the warm approval of its listeners.

“Usually, sinasabi nila nakaka-relate sila doon sa mga topic…’Yung di puwedeng problema mo, pwedeng concern ko. Pwedeng problema ng mga nanay na nasa bahay na nakikinig,” Susan said.

Susan said she and Lala continue to connect with their audience with the right mix of infotainment.

“Light lang siya pero informative, educational and entertaining,” she said.

“Nagiging medium ka para magkaroon ng sagot ‘yung tanong ng mga nakikinig sa atin,” she added.
