Move over One Direction, make way for the new heartthrobs!

 

UK boy band The Vamps will usher in the love month with a mega concert happening at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay this February 1.

 

The band composed of guitarist James McVey, vocalist Bradley Simpson, drummer Tristan Evans and bassist Connor Ball is ready to rock the stage and sing their hearts out for their most avid fans.

 

How did they became the global superstars we came to know?

 

James wanted to form a band and was able to recruit Bradley via YouTube. The two made a couple of songs and later on were joined by Tristan and Connor to form the super quartet.

 

The group found their success by uploading their own cover songs in the video sharing site. In fact, their track ‘Can We Dance’ got over a million views within a span of two weeks.

 

In addition, the single also debuted at number two in the official UK singles chart. So far, the YouTube song has more than 30 million views.

 

Their latest single a remake of the 1970’s hit song of Simon & Garfunkel titled ‘Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)’ has raised the bands popularity even more. The boy band collaborated with Canadian musician Shawn Mendes.

 

The music video features The Vamps and Mendes marooned on a deserted island. Here in the Philippines, the song is a huge hit among teenagers and has even reached number three in the DWLS 97.1 The Big Ten.

 

So make sure to troop down at Mall of Asia Arena this February 1, 2015 in order to catch a glimpse and party all night with one of the hottest boy bands in the world—The Vamps.
