Get to know the voice behind the theme song of the hit afternoon Koreanovela ‘Prime Minster and I’.

He is none other than Kaligta singer Michael Artita, who was the guest DJ of Mama Belle in Sikat Sa Barangay this morning.

Learn more why he revived R. Kelly’s phenomenal song ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and who among the many OPM artists does he want to collaborate with.

Why did you revive the 90’s song “I Believe I Can Fly’?

When did you discover that you want to pursue singing as a career?

“Music lover na ako from the very beginning. Nung high school ako, natuto ako mag-gitara, tapos hindi pa ako kumakanta nun.

Michael added he also want to be known as a composer because it is one of his ultimate goals.

“Sa music, one of my ultimate goals talaga ay ‘yung makapag-write ng songs and pagdating ko ng college, through tough times din, I was able to write a song.”

What was your reaction when you learned that your song will be featured in the Koreanovela ‘Prime Minister & I’?

What is your musical inspiration?

Who among the OPM artists today do you want to work with?

“Sila Ely Buendia, Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, After Image, Rivermaya. Actually 'yang mga 'yan, nakasama ko naman sila sa mga gig ko pero as in collaboration hindi pa. [Si ] Gloc-9, paborito ko si Gloc-9.”
