Well, they are none other than the RedLetters! They are the guys who did the wonderful cover of Stevie Wonder’s classic hit You Are The Sunshine of My Life.

Red Letters is composed of vocalist Chester, drummer Jofet, Stephen on bass and guitarist Peabo.

In an exclusive interview by GMANetwork.com today (July 22) with RedLetters, they talked about their experience singing the soundtrack of the hit Korean drama.

According to Chester, the opportunity to sing the theme song of a Korean series is a big step and gives them exposure via national TV.

Chester said, “Big deal kasi eto, in the first place, it's national TV eh and for us,  ito 'yung mga pangarap namin - to be heard by people. Parang we’ve been together for a long time.

“Si Stephen, kami during college and then sila during time na nagtatrabaho na kami. Finding out that there’s an opportunity given, this is a big step for us, isang bandang out of nowhere. Actually, we're just excited”

He added that they felt a lot of pressure doing their own version of a signature Stevie Wonder single, but they enjoyed their time recording the song.

“A lot of pressure during recording time kasi it’s a new platform for us. It's Stevie Wonder eh, he’s an icon. So [we tried] putting up the standard na Stevie Wonder ‘to, so kailangan namin galingan during recording time. [But] we had fun during that time.”

If given the chance, the band would like to collaborate with the likes of Ely Buendia and the band Pupil.

Moreover, band drummer Jofet would also like to work with the big names of the OPM industry like celebrity couple Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid.

“Siyempre [gusto namin] maka-colloborate ‘yung mga mayroon ng names talaga sa industriya. Like sila Gloc-9, sabihin natin sila Ogie 'yan, sila Regine 'yan.”
