Social media sweetheart and the lady behind the OPM hits, Kakaibabe and Happy Break Up song visited Mama Belle’s Sikat sa Barangay program this morning (December 2) to chat and promote her latest album.

In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, Donnalyn said that she was so overwhelmed with the support she got from the public that made her singles certified viral hits.

She said, “Siyempre tuwang-tuwa of course at saka lalo pa ako naiinspire na gumawa ng songs kasi nga sinusuportahan nila,”

The petite rapper also shared her inspiration in composing her smash song, Happy Break Up song.

“Naisip ko lang kasi nga pag nakikinig sa radyo puro napapakinggan ko sa break up songs parang heavy, tapos sabi ko naku kailangan ng mga tao ng mapapasaya sila, isang break-up song na mapapasaya sila, so ‘yun naisip ko,”

This Christmas, the talented performer plans to go back to Japan to see her family. According to Donnalyn, she misses them so much since she lives alone here in the Philippines.

She added that it would be awesome to spend some quality time with her adorable siblings.

“Hindi ako ‘yung tipong palabas-labas kasi ‘yung may gustong gawin. I just really wanna be with the kids, ‘yung mga kapatid ko. So, kung ano ‘yung gusto nilang gawin, yun ‘yung gusto ko. Kasi sapat talaga sa akin na makita sila, kasi nga mag-isa lang ako dito,”
