David dropped by this Tuesday morning (October 17) in Mama Belle’s radio program, Sikat sa Barangay, to talk about his new album titled, ‘Postcards in the Sky.'

He also revealed during the interview why he decided to take a two-year hiatus from music.

David explained, “The album that is coming out on Friday is called ‘Postcards in the Sky’. It’s a very reflecting album… A lot of reflecting in my life after I took a two-year break completely from music and everything.”

“Been a missionary in South America and it just made me think what is my purpose in life? Where am I moving forward? Why do I do music?”

He added, “Who am I? And that’s what this album is all about. Just finding yourself, find your voice and having the courage to move forward being who you are. And living to what matters most to you.”

The American Idol alum did several projects in the Philippines like starring in a mini-series in 2012 titled ‘Nandito Ako’ and released an OPM album called ‘Forevermore.'
