Kapuso balladeer James Wright will make you love him even more since he is back with a new kilig single.

The GMA Records artist had a one-on-one interview with Mama Belle this Wednesday morning on Sikat sa Barangay and discussed his new song featured in a morning Koreanovela series.

James also revealed that he has been traveling a lot to explore the Philippines and discover new things about himself.

He shared, “I guess I was just spending time discovering myself. Writing new music, experiencing new things, experiencing the Philippines. Kasi, I have been traveling a lot, I’ve been to Albay, basta just out of towns to really experience the Philippines once again to embrace the culture, try the food.”

The Kapuso heartthrob's new single ‘Mahal Na Nga Kita’ was composed by the legendary musician Vehnee Saturno and was chosen as the theme song of Let’s Fight Ghost.

According to James, “This song is an original Vehnee Saturno, kasama ito sa second album ko entitled ‘Just Wright,’ which features the theme song to My Love From The Star.”

He added, “This song naman ‘Mahal Na Nga Kita’ is now the theme song of Let’s Fight Ghost… This song is just about proclamation or declaration for the person that you love.” 

He also pointed out that all of his songs have a common theme... about a girl that he loves but doesn’t love him back.

“I guess for all my songs there’s always this sort of background na, there’s this girl na gusto ko and she doesn’t know. And minsan ayaw niya, pero I just want to say these things to her katulad ng song na ito,”
