The Pambansang Bae has received nine nominations for the 9th PMPC Star Awards for Music for his sophomore album and concert.
He related in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, “Nagulat nga ako eh, parang I didn’t expect it would be that much. The nomination is already a blessing. Kung makasungkit pa ng konting [award], solved na solved na po.”
According to Alden, he is not encumbered to follow the success of his previous works.
He said, “Wala naman kasi basically the past albums I’ve been making are really out from the heart. So ‘yung mga awards na nakukuha niya at ‘yung mga recognitions that go with it are for me a blessing.”
“Now na-e-explore ko ‘yung singing side, ‘yung achievement when you are able to produce a single or an album, masarap eh. ‘Uy boses ko ‘yun.’ Hindi naman talaga ako singer, siguro I just want to express some of my emotions through singing, through music,” he added.
