Actress, TV host and mom Sarah Lahbati is the total package.
Not only does she look absolutely stunning, she is also fab and fit.
How does she maintain a balanced lifestyle?
Now featured on the cover of Women’s Health
, the Moroccan-Filipina actress said in her interview that the key to looking and feeling great is having a fitness and health routine.
Sarah shared that when she was pregnant with baby Zion, she did not diet or work out. Instead, she ate healthy complete meals and took long walks with her partner, Richard Gutierrez. This made baby Zion healthy and strong.
Three months after giving birth, Sarah started brisk walking and later on, took on more intense work outs. Diet-wise, she avoided carbs and salt. She also made sure to drink a lot of water.
Just a year after giving birth, Sarah strutted down the runway for the Bench denim and underwear show dubbed The Naked Truth
together with Richard. All eyes were on the couple, who were both more fit than ever.
Sarah, who is into skiing and snowboarding among other sports, leads an active lifestyle. Currently, Sarah is into MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and works out three to four times a week. To make working out more interesting, she does it with Richard. She also considers Zion to be an energy booster so she always brings him along to the gym.
Of course, it is not all about working out and dieting. There has to be cheat days too. In fact, Sarah even lists down the meals she wants to chow down on her cheat day. Not depriving yourself just makes healthy living more worthwhile.
Sarah told Women’s Health magazine, “My number one rule is to take care of my body and mind. I eat healthy because when I eat healthy, I feel good. Working out makes me feel good. If I feel good about myself, I know I’ll look good and I’ll be happy. What was that quote by Audrey Hepburn? ‘Happy girls are the prettiest girls.’ So be confident in yourself. Love yourself.”
