Love You Two actor Clint Bondad is officially a Kapuso artist!
Earlier today, the German-Filipino model inked his contract with GMA Artist Center together with Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer and co-manager John Brilliantes.
In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, the six-foot-tall actor shared his dream projects and future plans in the network.
For starters, Clint feels right at home in the network.
He said, “It feels like I have a heart [on joining the network]. Haha!
“Masaya naman ako dito sa GMA dahil sa mga bagong proyekto. And ‘yung energy ng GMA is very fitting sa personality ko, so I feel right at home.”
As a matter of fact, Clint doesn’t feel any pressure when it comes to acting as he thinks of his craft as a hobby.
“Actually ang showbiz para sa akin is not so much of a work for me.
“Showbiz is more of a hobby. Kasi it’s fun and it’s an art eh.
“Acting is an art, hosting is an art, and if makakasama ko ‘yung mga magagandang tao, then it becomes a very fun work.”
Now that he’s made it official, what would Clint’s dream project be?
“I would love to try something like Taste Buddies,” he said.
“Something to do with hosting and something for fun. So, maybe a lifestyle show that is focused on sports and travel. Pero, dapat may kasama.
“That would be really fun kasi gusto kong ma-experience everything and if ever it gets big, not to go crazy or anything, but to go abroad and bringing the Filipinos with me would be so much fun.”
Aside from the lifestyle show, Clint has also set his sights on something bigger.
A self-proclaimed “Yes Man,” the new Kapuso artist is also looking into making it in the international scene given his unique facial features.
“I’m very open to doing international projects because I think I have a little advantage in terms of heritage because you cannot put me in a certain box sometimes.
“Pati na rin sa Germany, they don’t know where I’m from.
“Minsan tinatanong nila, ‘Hey, where are you from?’ Sometimes from Spain, sometimes Italy, sometimes from the Middle East, sometimes Asian. Lahat!
“So I think it’s a unique advantage na parang exotic ako sa kahit anong bansa.”
