Buboy Villar's road to success wasn't easy. Like many aspiring artists, he endured countless disappointments and setbacks before becoming the renowned actor, comedian, and TV personality he is today.

Buboy's career began as a young singer and child star, but it was not until he met the late film and television director Maryo J. Delos Reyes that his path took a significant turn. Delos Reyes brought him to GMA Network, where he landed his breakthrough role in the hit fantasy series Dyesebel in 2008. With his undeniable onscreen chemistry with Marian Rivera, Buboy quickly became a fan favorite and popular TV personality.

The success of Dyesebel led to Buboy's role as Ding, the iconic sidekick of Darna (played by Marian Rivera) in the 2009 TV adaptation of the Mars Ravelo comic series classic.

In 2022, Buboy was selected as one of the cast members of “Running Man Philippines,” the local version of the widely popular Korean reality TV comedy show Running Man.

Aside from his TV career, Buboy is also a devoted father and owns Paresan Ni Bok, a food cart business that he started near his home in Quezon City and has now expanded to multiple locations with the help of his franchisees.

Today, Buboy is one of the main hosts of the variety show “Tahanang Pinakamasaya,” showcasing his unique talent, charisma, and hard work.
