Mrs. Bing Pimentel, one of the driving forces behind the movement shares more. "PasaLord is an interfaith movement open to all who believe in God. If you are a believer, then you are a member of PasaLord. The purpose of the movement is to lift up our leaders, our families, and our country up to God and to invite Him to intervene in the affairs of our nation. We seek His blessings for peace, unity, and prosperity —as well as the transformation of our nation."

According to Mrs. Pimentel, the idea of starting a movement came to her during the war in Marawi.

"I was praying what can I do, I cannot take up arms. It came to me to pray, to start a prayer movement that would bring together Filipinos of every creed and denomination to intercede for our country. So I told my prayer group and we made calls for a meeting. Sixteen people came of varied faiths and denominations. God sent geniuses. In that meeting we came up with the name, the symbol of hands clasped, fingers intertwined, over the heart, seed money of P6,000.00 and a plan to launch the Prayer for Peace in the Philippines one month later on July 7, 2017. God worked through us and we came up with a prayer acceptable to all faiths. The launch itself was a success with God as the star of the event."

The synchronized movement of prayer will happen on February 7, 12 noon and intercessors can choose from the four versions of the 'Prayer for Peace in the Philippines' written in English, Filipino, Cebuano, and Hiligaynon.

Below is the Tagalog version of 'Panalangin para sa Kapayapaan sa Pilipinas':

Amen."

Lastly, PasaLord Movement requests intercessors to take photos or video clips of themselves and their groups while praying on that day and post these on their sites using the #PasaLord.
