Kapuso actress Andrea Torres has kept her head held high as she goes through heartbreak.
She has chosen to only spare a few words about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay.
Derek, on the other hand, has made very public declarations detailing things about their relationship and subsequent breakup.
He claims to have initiated the breakup over the phone.
"So, ako 'yung nakipagkalas. Sa phone po namin [pinag-usapan.] 'Yun lang 'yung siguro kung may regret ako is that it came up over the phone," the actor tells veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin on her radio show Cristy Ferminute.
"Actually, dapat magkikita kami noon, ang nangyari, it came up over the phone, pero with no disrespect," he added.
Throughout the ordeal, Andrea has never let her smile slip away from her face.
Netizens have praised her for keeping mum on the issue and have hailed her as a classy and decent girl.
Andrea also admitted having some regrets after their relationship ended.
"Mayroon [regrets]. Sa oras na nawala sa atin noong COVID-19 [pandemic] 'di ba, 'yung mga planong hindi natuloy. Ang dami kaya. Ako ang dami kong mga, 'yung parang noong start pa naman ng 2020, dineclare mo na talaga na 'This is it! Ito 'yung mga gagawin ko," she says in an interview on The Boobay and Tekla Show.
She also clarified that she does not make it a habit to get back with her exes.
"All out kasi ako eh. All out ako sa relasyon so 'pag dumating sa point na kumalas na, alam ko sa sarili ko na nasagad ko na. So okay na," she said.
Andrea also added that she is not yet ready for a new relationship at the moment.
"Ako hindi pa. Usually kasi 'pag ganito, binibigyan ko talaga ng time 'yung sarili ko para maging mag-isa. Para kapag dumating 'yung next, all out ulit," she explained.
