With temperatures this high, one can't walk out of the house without having their makeup melt off, sweat from every pore of their body, and smell like they spent the whole day under the sun, in other words, hulas!
Fortunately, Gabbi Garcia has three easy tips for us to stay hulas-free in the intense summer heat.
Step 1: Stay hydrated
"Hydrate yourself is number one! Pampaganda sa skin din 'yung water so that you're not so dry."
Aside from the skin benefits, drinking lots of water prevents dehydration which could lead to various health problems such as fever and headaches.
Step 2: Sunscreen up
"Use sunblock. Just because you're morena, it doesn't mean that you're not included sa list ng kailangan mag-sunblock. You're not exempted, you have to protect yourself from the sun."
Just like Gabbi said, no one is safe from the sun's harsh UV rays. Prolonged exposure to the sun without sunscreen may lead to skin damage, or worse, skin cancer.
Step 3: Get Hookt.
"I stay fresh with Hookt. Dinala ko 'yung scent sa Bohol and it really helped because it's an EdT (Eau de Toilette), it lasts from two to four hours so spray lang ako nang spray para mabango ako."
Lastly, Gabbi never leaves home without a bottle of Hookt perfume to stay fresh all day everyday! In her recent trip to Bohol, Gabbi used the scent YAAAS QUEEN, which according to Gabbi, is the perfect scent for summer getaways.
