At a glance, a celebrity's life may appear to be all glitz and glamour. But like any regular person, they struggle with hectic schedules too, and that steals from them hours of sleep and rest.

Since they capitalize on their images, most celebrities get pampering from leading beauty and aesthetic clinics. But the good news is they have natural ways of looking beautiful, glowing, and healthy despite the puyat.

Ken Chan, Miguel Tanfelix, EA Guzman, and Shaira Diaz reveal in separate interviews with GMANetwork.com the simple steps that help them keep a charming, healthy glow despite the lack of sleep.

Catch some Z's in your downtime

Ken, Miguel, EA, and Shaira admit it, they all try to go on a quick nap in between work.

Miguel shares, “Sleep is very important. What I do is sleep sa byahe. That's the only time I have 'pag sunod-sunod 'yung work.”

EA echoes the same, saying, “Pag sa taping, nagna-nap ako. Importante kasi para sa akin 'yung kahit makaidlip ako ng one hour, 30 minutes para 'yung energy ko hindi mababa, same pa rin. 'Pag wala akong ginagawa, hindi ako nagte-tape, natutulog ako para abutin man ako ng umaga, umagahin man ako sa taping, kaya kong umuwi, kaya kong magtrabaho, kaya kong maka-deliver sa mga eksena.”

Keep hydrated

Research suggests that sleep deprivation may lead to dehydration. That's why the four Kapuso stars agree that it's necessary to drink lots of water.

Ken emphasizes, “I drink lots of water. That's really important kasi 'pag puyat tayo made-dehydrate tayo. So you have to drink lots and lots and lots of water.

“May nagturo sa akin na ang milk nakakatulong sa puyat so I really drink lots of milk. 'Pag ako puyat, nagpa-palpitate ako pero when I drink milk, nawawala siya,” he also adds.

Take vitamins

Aside from drinking water, these celebrities take vitamins and other supplements too to boost their health.

Shaira says, “'Yung mga medicines ko, vitamins ko hindi ko pinapabayaan talaga. Hindi ako nagmimintis.”

Miguel does likewise, saying, “Water, vitamins. Kasi 'pag puyat ka, bababa 'yung immune system mo so you have to take vitamins.”

Be patient with your skin care routine

While most celebrities enjoy the privilege of getting the best skin care services and technology, they still recognize the effective role of a basic skincare routine.

Shaira notes, “Hilamos palagi. Alaga lang ng hilamos kasi, 'di ba, 'pag sobrang stressed mo, parang oily-oily mo na. So sa akin hilamos.”

Lastly, EA also admits, “Kasi 'yun nga, puyat kami nang puyat. Malaki ang tendency na magkaroon kami ng pimples, blackheads. Ang diskarte ko ina-apply ko 'yung regimen ko... 'Yung kit may facial wash, moisturizer. For morning 'yun after mo maligo and sa gabi bago ka matulog. 'Yun 'yung pinanglalaban ko sa breakouts, sa pimples, blackheads. Kailangan masipag ka lang din talaga.”
