Pia Wurtzbach

Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach took to Instagram to promote body positivity.

Even the most beautiful woman in the universe has insecurities.

Former 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach posted her opinion on Instagram about promoting body positivity. This is especially relevant today because people are obsessed about looking good and perfect on social media.

Her Instagram post last May 5 has garnered more than 444,000 likes, wherein she shared some of her insecurities.

Pia said, “We're more than a number on a scale, a filter on Instagram, or the opinion of other people. Was a bit hesitant to post this pic cause I've been called so many names over the years.”

She went on to stress that we should accept all our imperfections and don't pay attention to those who have a negative comment about our body.

“But you know what, this body has carried me through life, and I will honor it--cellulites, jiggles and all.

“Best to just shake off any negative comments (pun intended), right?”
