Miss Supranational Philippines 2022 Alison Black is hoping to perform better than her predecessor in the pageant.
It's still almost two weeks away until the July 16 Miss Supranational 2022 coronation night in Malopolska, Poland, but current reigning Miss Supranational Philippines 2022 Alison Black is already making sure that her heritage is fully displayed.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Alison put up five photos of her in an orange modernized terno designed by Noel Estopito.
In the caption to the post, Alison wrote that she is “immensely grateful” for the opportunity to display the Filipinos “creativity, strength, and palaban-ness” to the rest of the world.
Alison's Instagram followers were on hand to cheer her on in the comments section of the post. Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez left heart eye emojis in the comment section, while Alison's other Instagram followers used the hashtag #GiveBLACKTheCrown.
Other users also brought up Alison's past as a ballerina to cheer her on as she prepares for the upcoming coronation night.
Alison Black is hoping to perform better in the Miss Supranational pageant than her predecessor, Dindi Pajares. Because of the global coronavirus pandemic, Dindi was selected by her fellow Miss World Philippines 2021 candidates to represent the country in the pageant. Dindi ended up placing in the top 12, with Chanique Rambe of Nambia crowned as the new Miss Supranational 2021.
