Cheryl awakes in the Philippines with no memories of her past in Malaysia. Will Lukas help her remember?
Soon-huat and Cheryl’s Philippine cruise turn out to be a tragedy as their boat explodes, leaving Soon-huat dead and Cheryl alive, but unconscious. News about their misfortune reaches their families in Malaysia.
But while Soon-huat’s body is recovered, Cheryl remains missing. A search for Cheryl ensues, and while her family hopes for the better, a greedy stockholder in Soon-huat’s company wants her dead.
In the Philippines, Jaime finds the unconscious Cheryl and brings her to his home. When she wakes, however, she does not remember anything except for her pregnancy. Jaime thus informs her about the miscarriage, and calls her Kaye, in lieu of her real name.
Joshua meets Kaye and they become good friends. Jaime, on the other hand, falls for her. This is the reason why he refuses to tell the police about her.
Meanwhile, Lukas sends Joshua off to a vacation in the province to manage his newly-established business. Incidentally, Raquel’s parents, Jose and Corazon, arrive to see Joshua. Lukas refuses to show his son, but when they insisted, he tells them about the vacation. But as his in-laws are very eager to have custody of Joshua, they threaten Lukas to a fight in court.
Lukas also remembers Cheryl through a shell mobile, but dismisses the thought when he realizes she is in Malaysia. But when Joshua tells him about his new friend Kaye, and hears a familiar voice over the telephone, he again wonders if Cheryl could in fact be in the country.
Will Cheryl, or Kaye, remember Lukas? What other things will happen if they ever meet?
