Mark Bautista makes his parents' wedding anniversary special with this very important thing, which they couldn't afford more than four decades ago.
Mark Bautista gifted his parents wedding rings after finding out they couldn't afford to buy one for their wedding more than four decades ago.
Mark's mom celebrated her 60th birthday yesterday, January 13.
While she wanted a modest party, the Kapuso singer-actor gave her a celebration she was deprived of when she was younger.
He said, “Gusto lang nya ng simpleng celebration with family and her friends pero naka gown since never naman daw sya naka experience ng debut..so we decided to do it in CDO and I asked @albertandrada to make her a gown.”
He also took the chance to present his parents wedding rings while just a few days short of their 42nd anniversary.
“Since nalaman din namin a month ago na never pala nagka-wedding ring sila ni papa [nanghiram lang daw sila sa cousin nila na nag-organize sa wedding nila noo] bilang na sad kami sa story nila ,we surprised them with a ring and hired a priest to bless them also same day today [but their 42nd anniversary is on Jan 25 pa].
"It's a joy seeing both of them so happy today. Thank you Lord for making everything possible,” he continued.
Mark also proved the true essence of marriage via a throwback photo taken at his parents' wedding day.
He wrote, “I think weddings are not really about rituals or budget.. it's really about nurturing the relationship..Here's some little proof.
“My parents after finally getting their own wedding rings 42 yrs later.”
