Iza Calzado is a happy and proud mom as she excitedly shared another growth milestone of her daughter Deia Amihan.
In an Instagram post, Iza said Deia has successfully done the placed independent sitting.
In the photos, Deia can be seen sitting on the cushion with an all-smiles mommy Iza in the background.
The actress recounted how she had to recreate the moment because it first happened during class when no phones were allowed.
“It happened during class (where phones are not allowed) so I recreated the moment at home and this time Deia held the position much longer, probably 3 mins long,” she said.
Iza also shared what happened when she told her husband, Ben Wintle, about it.
“I was so excited to show Ben, only to be told by him that she's done that in front of him before. Of course I insisted and still insist that this is the real first time. Definitely is the longest she's done this!” she mused.
Deia Amihan celebrated her fifth month last June and the family marked the occasion with a rainbow cake.
“Our Deia Amihan is 5 months [o]ld today! Also our family's simple way of celebrating with our friends in the LGBTQ+ Community. Happy Pride!!!” Iza wrote in a previous post.
Iza and Ben welcomed Baby Deia into their lives in January 2023.
