Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach talked about having children with husband Jeremy Jauncey in an one-on-one with known entrepreneur-mentor Anas Bukhash.

In a two and a half hour video that was uploaded on August 2, the Pinay beauty queen admitted that ever since tying the knot with entrepreneur and model Jeremy Jauncey, a lot of people asked her about having kids.

She told Anas, “You know, people just ask me when are you going to have kids? After I got married, I just kept hearing that question everywhere…. Before getting married- when are you guys getting married? And now we're married, when is the baby?”

Pia clarified that having a baby will have to wait and her husband is fine with her decision not to have a family just yet.

“Yes! I do want to have children one day. Not now! Not at this point in my career and in my life. And Jeremy is also fine with that, but in the future, we would love to have a family.”

She then explained, “As an empowered woman if you will, I think you're worth as a woman is not measured by you being able to bear a child. Like there is really so many more things to a woman than just bearing a children.

“Some women do not want to have kids, some women want to be amazing at their careers. They want to put all their effort in that, maybe they want to take care of their parents all their lives, maybe they want to commit their life in social work. Maybe they just have different plans, but that doesn't mean that a woman is less valuable or less capable.”

Anas Bukhash also asked Pia if she would allow her future daughter to compete in a beauty pageant.

Thinking about it, Pia answered, “I would ask her: why?”

She continued, “I would ask her: why? Like I would ask her what it meant for her first. What does it mean to you? Why? It is it the fame?, Is it the money?, Is it the opportunities?

“Is it cause you wanna push for a certain cause that you care about. I feel like the world has changed so much in the last couple of years, where as everybody has a platform now. Everybody has their own social media account that they can grow. And you can be just as influential as a Miss Universe.

“Just as influential as a Hollywood celebrity, as a TV personality. You can be just as popular as them and not be on the traditional media that we see on TV.”

Pia and Jeremy got engaged in 2022. The couple announced that they already tied the knot in May 2023. Based on their post on social media the intimate ceremony happened on March 24, 2023 in Seychelles.
