Claudine Barretto made a promise to her dad Miguel on his 3rd birthday in heaven.
Three years have passed but Claudine Barretto still feels the pain of losing her father Miguel Alvir Barretto, perhaps even more now on his natal day.
The Got 2 Believe star took to Instagram to remember her dad on his birthday last September 29.
Claudine wrote, “Belated happy, happy birthday in Heaven Daddy. September 29 was your birthday, Just to say I miss u terribly is an understatement. I spent your birthday in Sta. Cruz, Zambales last night, it was a fiesta of San Miguel (St. Michael) your Patron Saint.
“As I was about to sing I broke down crying & the people of Sta Cruz helped me finish my songs. I apologized for crying when it was a fiesta so dapat happy lang.”
The Optimum Star then made a promise to her dad to take care of her mom Inday.
“I'm so blessed they helped me & understood me. Dad I luvu with all of my soul & my being & I promise to take care of mommy. pls visit me in my dreams & hug me. Thank you for being an amazing Dad, I would choose u over & over, I wouldn't have it any [other] way. luv your, PRETYEST DAUGHTER. yan po ang spelling ko mula bata.. Thank You to all of u for your Prayers & luv.”
CELEBRITIES PAY TRIBUTE TO THEIR LATE LOVED ONES:
Aside from Marjorie and Gretchen, Claudine has other siblings namely Mito, Michelle, Joquin, and Gia.
The Barretto patriarch died at the age of 82 in October 2019.
