Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is a proud lola's girl and before the 95th birthday of her Lola Iska (Francisca), the multi-awarded actress talked about how instrumental her grandmother in guiding her to become a better person.

In her exclusive chat with Nelson Canlas in the GMA Integrated News Interviews, the Jose & Maria's Bonggang Villa star talked about some of the life lessons her lola imparted on her throughout the years.

“Sa lahat ng motto ko yata sa buhay sa kaniya nanggaling”, Yan said. “Uumpisahin ko 'yan sa parents. Palagi niya sinasabi sa akin way, way back huwag ka magtatanim ng sama ng loob sa pamilya mo or sa magulang mo. Because, you will never be successful kapag may galit ka sa parents mo.”

She added that whatever happened to the marriage of her parents Amalia and Javier Gracia Alonso, her Lola Iska reminded her to leave everything to God.

“'Kung ano man ang nangyari sa Mama mo at Papa mo, i-let go mo 'yan. Ibigay mo na lang sa taas 'yan.' Number two, 'Kahit ano'ng mangyari sa'yo huwag ka makakalimot sa mga tao na tumulong sa'yo.' Last, 'As long as ginagawa mo nang tama ang mga bagay-bagay at wala ka tinatapakan, pagpapalain ka ng Panginoon.'”

Aside from her comedy show with husband Dingdong Dantes, Marian is set to make her comeback on primetime by portraying the role of Katherine in My Guardian Alien.

Also, part of this big project are Gabby Concepcion, Max Collins, Raphael Landicho, and many more.

According to Marian, this primetime series is a must-watch show, especially for kids, “Gusto ko talaga ihatid 'yung kuwento ni Katherine, 'yung ito nan ga My Guardian Alien, so gusto ko ihatid 'yan sa kanila. Good news 'to na pang sa inyo mga bata, kasama ang pamilya n'yo. Kasi, ang ganda kasi may mapupulot kang aral.”
