Happy eighth month, Baby Hailee!
Kris Bernal recently celebrated the eighth month of her daughter, Hailee Lucca, and she marked the milestone with an update about her motherhood journey.
The Sparkle star shared on Instagram an adorable clip of Hailee giggling, as Kris showered her with kisses.
"Eight months of @haileelucca toothless grins. Eight months of her milky breath. Eight months of exclusively breastfeeding and holding her close to my heart. Eight months of her singkit-like eyes, looking deep into mine, assuring me that she'll always love being with me no matter how sleep-deprived and loco I look," Kris mused in her caption.
Kris has been sharing her motherhood journey on her Instagram and in her latest post, she penned the new realizations and learnings she had eight months postpartum.
"I realized that there's no such thing as being poorly exhausted, sick, tired, overwhelmed, or burnt out when you're a mom. You just have to keep on going, and somehow I do," she said.
Kris added, "I know I can't be perfect 100% of the time. But, I always give 100%, whatever that may look like at the time. And, for that bewitching innocent gummy smile, how could I not muster the strength to go on?"
Kris also said she is still "identifying" the new her, but knows it will be better in time.
"[S]till struggling identifying the new me, trying to find peace, and going through the motions. And, just like other mothers, I know that I will get through this period. I will miss this season. It will get better and I will find myself again in time," she continued.
Kris and her husband Perry Choi welcomed Hailee Lucca in August 2023.
